The house has been occupied until Mid 80's by an old countryman who maintained a 19th century life style. For this reason the RAI-Tv produced, few years ago, a reportage showing the last example of peasant tradition, the everyday life of a "sage" (wise man), who was living in touch with the nature, according to archaic and genuine traditions.
At present transformed in agritourism, the "Oak of the Sage" is located within the gentle hills of Marche region, in the zone of "Lacrima di Morro d'Alba" a D.O.C. red wine, and 7 km away from the renowned "velvet beach" of Senigallia.
A quiet and restful place, where to relax surrounded by the nature, in the regional framework of genuine foods and artistic treasures hidden in small towns with their medieval architectures still intact.
