The "agriturismo" Locanda dell'Angelo (Angel Inn) is situated over 400 meters above sea level and nestles in an ancient olive grove in the umbrian Hills: Once known as the Villa Bagnariae, because of natural spring in the vicinity, the farmhouse dates back to the thirteenth century. A tiny chapel, dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine, was erected in 1333 next to the farmhouse, which has stunning views of the basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the vale of Assisi.
