The farm is 350 mt (1137 ft) above sea level, surrounded by relaxing green countryside, where all of a sudden the outline of the pleasant, thickly-wooded Umbrian hills meets Lake Trasimene, the unequalled maestro of colours and splendour. Here the old eighteenth-century sandstone farmhouse offers a vast panorama over the Vale of Carpine, a must on the way towards the Trasimene basin and the starting-point for numerous excursion of touristic and cultural interest, such as the elegant town of Perugia, the mystic town of Assisi, Spello, Cittą della Pieve, the picturesque little towns of Lake Trasimene and its Islands, Cortona, Arezzo, Siena and Florence.
A respect for tradition and careful attention to detail have inspired the renovation of the whole reception structure, carried out according to the principles of bioarchitecture.
