"Le Tassinaie" is a charming Umbrian farmhouse with a magnificent view over Lake Trasimeno and its three islands. Located in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, Le Tassinaie is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, fields and and oak-woods. Close- by is the boarder with Tuscany. Umbria, a region rich in history, where Etruscans, Romans and Carthegians passed, having left valuable traces of their presence.
Le Tassinaie is situated along the ancient road which connected the near-by regions of the Pontific State and the Grand Duchesy of Tuscany. The "Agriturismo" is a most comfortable going-out point to make beautiful excursions to the most famous art-towns of Central-italy, such as Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Orvieto, Spoleto, Gubbio, Cortona, Montepulciano, Chiusi and many others.
It is also possible to make a comfortable journey by train to Florence or Rome and visit them in one day.
