The completely restored 13th century guest wing (later partially used as olive mill), with its two spacious and luxurious apartments, is situated just outside the ring wall of the castle, which today is located in a small village with less than 100 inhabitants, but was once an independent parish with its own town council.
Since Montegiove is close to the main communication lines and equidistant of Rome (154 km) and Florence (151 km), it is an ideal base for exploring the historical treasures of Umbria and Tuscany, especially the countryside of the historical provinces of Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Perugia and Siena.
